So, this blog seems to be getting a bit crowded, so I'm looking into getting a real site :-P
I've recently just completed a game for Matt Cox (Lead Designer of Scribblenauts) He was an awesome guy to work with, and the game is pretty funny as well. I have a lot of faith in it. It's super-simple, fun, and they're giving a portion of profits to charity. It was definitely a project I felt honored to work on. Feel free to check it out at www.stickybees.com!
Patchwork Battles is now a real game. Lol. We're being published by an awesome new publishing company led by two guys with some pretty phenomenal experience. You can check out brand new screen shots and stuff at http://www.ayopagames.com/games/patchwork-battles/
Sadly though, sometimes stuff in life happens and we have to take a step back, or pause for a bit. A game I've been working on for a few months just went under hiatus status until further notice. Hopefully it'll start back up, but until then, I've been allowed to post what's already been done. I hope you all enjoy it.
If you're looking for an artist to make your game something special - you've come to the right place.

Vector Month.
The past few weeks myself and Illustrator have become reacquainted quite well. My brother-from-another-mother, who goes by the name Echo Marz, commissioned me to make a logo for his up-and-coming music production company, Martian Moon. Godspeed, little Martian corporate entity!
More Work
Here's some work from one of the latest projects I've worked on. The title is undecided by my client, but it pays a humorous homage to the classic "Fire" game from the old Game-and-Watch. Unfortunately, by the request of the client, I can only post low quality images of the stuff in-game.

Current and Very Recently Completed Projects
So I've decided it's been a little while since I've taken some time to post new things that I've been working on, so I figured I'd go ahead and show you all some of the stuff that I'm currently working on.
First off, be ready to check out www.AVirusNamedTom.com - I'm assisting with asset and conceptual art for a small studio out in the bay area named Misfit's Attic- they're a cool crew, and I think the game's really got some potential, so go show some support! Unfortunately, I cannot post anything I've done yet under NDA. Perhaps when some more video and screens come out of the new version after the 15th, I'll be able to post some stuff and explain more on how I was involved.

First Published Game!
If you'd like to see my first published game on iPhone that was released this past Monday, feel free to go check it out at www.thisissudoku.com. My job was to create a few buttons and assets emulating the style of the original version of the game, created by Mariano Donati. I was responsible for the fox emotion faces for the "Challenge Against The Fox" mode, as well as the player icon in said mode. I also did the locked and unlocked icons to enter it. I hope to be able to post many more of these announcements as my current and past clients begin to release their games here in the current months. :)

Current Project: Patchwork Battle
Here are some asset tests for Jason LaChapelle's current upcoming game for the iPad and iPhone dubbed "Patchwork Battle". Jason wanted a style that would really represent the customizable nature of his game - being able to craft little mimics to send into battle. Being someone that likes to take fun concepts to the extreme, and oft ridiculous - I proposed a style that would take the whole concept literally. I present to you the asset style for "Patchwork Battle" - Bringing war to a craft table (or iPad ;)) near you.

Elemechs
Elemechs was at one time a facebook game that was in alpha phase that could be located here. However, it doesn't seem to be loading for anyone anymore, so it's safe to assume it probably won't be again. The top 3 pieces are conceptual work done for the project, while the bottom 2 are asset sheets for it. animation is not included because it was done using flash animation tweens.
The weapon sheet shows both the equipment for the Elemechs to use as well as the original final Elemech sprite done by our "lead artist" for which I was to base all equipment and the rest of the mech sprites off of.
Intention
Both of these asset sheets were for a game submit to Indiecade that a client asked me to completely overhaul the original art for. The game is a statement on the convenience (or lack thereof) of helping others. The game can be downloaded here. A video of the original game before I touched it can be found here.
